In spite of all the challenges, 2020 and 2021 have been exceptionally busy and productive years for ILF. Our experts took part in a plethora of interesting projects, worked with a number of international companies and helped many a client to uphold their rights.
In the healthcare field, we’re making contributions to the reform of the healthcare system at the national and regional levels, participate in the development and discussion of bills and development strategies, including the Health Manifesto supported by the International Renaissance Foundation. As part of the EU-backed project Effective primary healthcare in communities, our experts took part in 10 advocacy campaigns aimed at helping communities and medical institutions develop better healthcare.
Our IT-related efforts are paying off as well. Our lawyers have assisted over 20 companies by developing contracts, providing legal support for their operations, helping them get their products out into the Ukrainian and foreign markets, defending their interests in disputes with contractors, etc.
Our company also provides pro bono services to help out communities. We provide legal support to a number of companies and organizations, including the Ukrainian Leadership Academy and EdCamp. Also, together with the Ukrainian-German Medical Association and the Kharkiv Oblast Council we are involved in the development of the regional palliative care program.
It is an honor to have our progress noticed by outside experts. In 2021 we became finalists of the Legal Awards organized by the Legal Practice in five nominations: healthcare and pharmaceutics, government relations, pro bono and IT.
We would like to congratulate ILF partner Arsen Buchkovsky, who was a finalist for the Lawyer of the Year in IT nomination.
We are grateful to our clients for their trust in us, for they are the driving force of our progress!
