By the end of 2015 the law on e-commerce was adopted, allowing telephone service providers to cut down on paperwork.

ILF as legal advisor to one of the largest telecommunications companies in Eastern Ukraine assisted with the transition to electronic means of communication with customers.

The project was managed by ILF lawyers Veronika Vasylchenko and Yuliya Zolotarenko, under the guidance of Artem Naumov, ILF associated partner on investment consulting.

In the course of the project, ILF lawyers analyzed various issues concerning e-commerce, contracts, privacy in automation systems as well as legal regulation of the activities of telecommunications companies.

As a result, the client received a transition plan for adopting electronic documentation as well as draft e-contracts on the company’s services, fully converting all current contracts into electronic form.
